Southern Drive is the name of the band which is made up of Blake, his dad Jessy, Uncle Davey and Grandpa Dave. Blake got to set in at Legends Corner in Nashville this past summer and has played at several local parties/events. He took second place at last years Fowerville Idol with Johnny B Goode on his guitar and although he did not place this year with Great balls of fire on the piano - his rendition made the local news and county Rebel.com picked up his story as well. Blake has been invited to the 2nd annual Jerry Lee Lewis worldwide fan forum meet-up in Memphis TN next month and looks forward to performing at the Jerry Lee Lewis cafe. Some of Blake's musical interests are Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash, and The Blues brothers.
